Job description

Warehouse Associate

This role performs core warehousing and material handling functions, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping parts, materials, and equipment at the Waco, TX facility. Under the direction of a Shift Supervisor, the position supports all areas of warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include verifying inventory, filling orders, operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks), maintaining records, and resolving discrepancies. This role also identifies defects, supports basic clerical tasks, and contributes to a safe and organized work environment.

Summary Pay Range: $17.65 - $22.90

What You Will Do:

  • Perform material handling and warehousing functions, including receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts, materials, and equipment.
  • Use source documents to verify quantities, count parts, fill orders, and package materials accurately.
  • Operate equipment and machinery for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, and labeling.
  • Complete clerical tasks, maintain records, and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Operate warehouse systems and mobile equipment (e.g., reach truck, stand-up/sit-down forklift, tugger) to support daily operations.
  • Identify and report defects or equipment repair needs.
  • Support additional warehouse duties and tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 lbs. for intervals of 15-30 minutes
  • Must be able to work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor
  • Must be able to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods

What You Have:

  • At least 6 months of work experience
  • Beginner proficiency in Computer Skills/Microsoft applications
  • Must be capable and willing to learn the operation and basic care of mobile equipment such as forklifts

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • At least 6 months of reach truck experience
  • Warehouse operations experience
  • Experience with Mach 1 order management systems
  • Inventory control experience
  • Basic mathematical ability
  • Auditing experience
  • Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work experience

Shift: 1st Shift Full-Time

Hours: Mon-Thurs 6 AM-4 PM, Must be able to work mandatory overtime on Fridays as needed to support business needs.

Starting pay rate: $18.55
