Job description

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Bilingual Order Management Specialist for a client located in Houston, TX to join our team. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity.

Pay: $28.00/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day in office, 4 days remote)

Location Requirement: Local Houston-area candidates only

Summary:

Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely order processing while delivering exceptional customer service. This position serves as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments to manage order inquiries, resolve discrepancies, monitor order status, and ensure a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Process and maintain customer purchase orders received through multiple order entry methods including manual entry, EDI, eCommerce, and automated platforms

Review, investigate, and resolve order exceptions and holds to ensure timely fulfillment

Monitor order status and proactively follow up on aging, delayed, or backlogged orders

Validate order information including pricing, inventory availability, compliance requirements, and customer specifications

Maintain accurate order documentation and records in accordance with company policies and procedures

Respond promptly and professionally to customer and internal inquiries via phone and email

Collaborate with internal departments to resolve order issues and improve customer satisfaction

Provide excellent customer service while maintaining strong relationships with customers and business partners

Accurately enter and manage large volumes of order information with a high level of attention to detail

Learn and adapt to evolving order management systems, procedures, and business processes

Prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Associate's Degree preferred

Minimum of 2 years of customer service and/or order management experience

Fluent in English and Spanish with the ability to professionally communicate with customers

Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams

Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail

Experience with CRM, ERP, JDE, or other order management systems preferred

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Professional demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer support
