Job description

National Accounts Support Specialist

Location: Irving, Texas (Corporate Office)

Company: PrimeSource Building Products, Inc.

PrimeSource Building Products, Inc. is seeking a National Accounts Support Specialist to support National and Major Account order execution, customer platform content, and compliance processes to ensure accurate, on-time fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor National and Major Account orders (including special orders) from entry through shipment to meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Ensure partner routing, labeling, and compliance requirements are followed; proactively identify and resolve issues that could result in chargebacks.
  • Investigate, dispute, and resolve compliance fines prior to remittance deductions, partnering with internal teams and customer contacts as needed.
  • Maintain and improve item setup/content across customer platforms; support .com onboarding and ongoing data accuracy that populates customer sites.
  • Upload daily inventory and other required feeds to customer/partner platforms to support ordering and availability accuracy.
  • Manage internal SAP order blocks and coordinate resolution to keep orders moving while protecting customer commitments.
  • Coordinate new store orders to support store openings, ensuring complete and on-time shipment.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and delivery issues; document actions, follow through to closure, and communicate status updates.
  • Prepare and distribute routine reporting (e.g., weekly POS reporting) and maintain accurate records to support the National Accounts team.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree (2- 4 years), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ year of sales support, customer service, order management, or related experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills (required), including the ability to create and maintain reports.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and follow processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, confident communication skills (phone and email) and the ability to build productive internal and external relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing National Account compliance, chargebacks, and/or routing guide requirements.
  • SAP experience, including order blocks and order management workflows.
  • Customer platform/content management experience (item setup, product content, data feeds, eCommerce onboarding).
  • Photoshop (or similar) experience.
  • Knowledge of the building materials industry.
