This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Assist in leading production activities, including assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
  • Communicate with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate labor/capital resources.
  • Assist in planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance efficiency and downtime to minimize disruptions.
  • Lead or participate in quality investigations and deliver continuous improvement including investigative and technical writing.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Projects in an effort to enhance products, services, efficiency, cost for improvement through methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen.
  • Assure a safe work environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs) The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • Location: Onsite, Fort Worth, TX
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
