Pet Paradise's full-service pet care destination is dedicated to giving pet parents access to all the premium care they need to give their furry family member the happiest, healthiest, longest life possible. The Pet Paradise brand has grown to offer resort-style pet day camp and care, professional pet grooming, low-stress and high-quality veterinary care, and of course, overnight boarding that feels like home, all under one roof. Located in nine states with more than 60 locations in operation or under development, Pet Paradise continues to expand in the United States.

This position will service BOTH Cedar Park & Georgetown Resorts.

Hourly Rate of $18 - $25.00 per hour, plus a monthly car allowance

Pet Paradise Resort is seeking an experienced Facilities Associate to help maintain the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of our resorts. In this role, you will support facility maintenance, perform repairs, uphold cleanliness standards, and assist with administrative tasks to ensure our resorts operate efficiently.

Essential Functions of the Facilities Associate include:

  • Manage and update work orders, including notes, photos, receipts, and required documentation
  • Provide custodial and housekeeping support alongside Supervisors to maintain resort cleanliness
  • Ensure all areas are safe and orderly-report hazards or repair needs promptly to resort leadership
  • Verify completed work with resort and facilities leadership to ensure quality and satisfaction
  • Support maintenance and repairs for HVAC, electrical, and general building systems
  • Maintain resort amenities, including play yards, pools, splash pads, misters, fans, and other equipment
  • Lead training on animal care equipment and facility systems, including water bowls, kennel doors, cleaning equipment, and other operational components
  • Plan, schedule, and purchase materials needed for maintenance projects
  • Accurately track time using project management and payroll systems
  • Follow all safety policies and OSHA guidelines while performing maintenance tasks
  • Travel up to 50% within the assigned market to support multiple resort locations

Required Qualifications:

  • Two to Four years of related experience
  • Must have Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with resort leadership, vendors, and team members
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Commitment to following OSHA regulations and all company safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within an assigned market to support multiple resort locations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience maintaining commercial facilities and hospital properties
  • HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other maintenance certifications are a plus
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to use work order management systems
