Customer Service Representative

Pay Rate: 35/HR

Location: 2 T.W.Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC

Description

Provide ongoing customer service support in an agriculturally based business. Responsible for order processing from receipt of order, delivery of goods and invoicing. Primary tasks include heavy use of SAP for order management and building/maintaining customer relationships. Specific tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Order entry and maintenance in SAP
  • Planning, reviewing, scheduling and booking, and releasing orders for shipment
  • Order issue management
  • Manage order plan and coordination with warehouse to ensure customer requested delivery dates are met
  • Preparing and dispatching shipping documents and associated record keeping
  • Provide consistent quality service and act as a liaison for customers to service providers

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills including intermediate knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • Mid-level experience using SAP for sales order management, including supporting transactions.
  • Customer service experience โ€“ not related to retail sales or a call center setting.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Must have excellent customer focus, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • The candidate must be detailed oriented and have a willingness to do routine data entry and follow through.
  • Undergraduate degree in business or logistics preferred. 2-year degree required.
