JOB SUMMARY and KEY OBJECTIVES:

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, managing, and overseeing complex, multicomponent customer orders from initial approval through final fulfillment to production. This role ensures that all order specifications, configurations, pricing, and customer requirements are correctly interpreted and executed by collaborating closely with Sales, Product Design, Customer Experience, Operations, and Manufacturing teams. The Specialist serves as the primary internal owner of order accuracy - proactively mitigating errors, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the order lifecycle.

DUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year of customer service or order entry experience
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • ERP familiarity (Microsoft Dynamix AX preferred)
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, while understanding the variable timelines required to execute JIT process
  • Proven skills in time management and multi-tasking responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and an independent problem solver
  • Ability to expand work hours to meet deadlines and workload fluctuations

PHYSICAL EFFORT
