We are looking for a talented Order Entry Associate to join our growing team. Your responsibilities will include daily entry and processing of sales orders. In this position the Order Entry Associate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for providing a legendary customer experience.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Same day data entry of customer purchase orders into the system. Order receipt can come in the form of e-mail, or phone
  • Provide same day order confirmations and clarify order discrepancies
  • Support order status requests, limited processing of return material authorizations, credits/debits, and answering customer questions
  • Contact customers for needed or missing information via email or phone.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and business partners
  • Expedite requests as necessary
  • Obtain 100% accuracy entering customer Purchase Orders. Ensure all pertinent fields are entered accurately, in a timely manner, and adhering to any unique customer requirement.
  • Actively work to streamline Purchase Order entry with focus on creating consistency among customers
  • Meet established departmental performance metrics
  • Meets attendance expectations as outlined in the employee handbook
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor

What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to interpret complex business documents including customer purchase orders
  • Ability to professionally communicate with customers both verbally and in writing
  • Proficient typing skills with high level of accuracy
  • High comfort level on use of the Microsoft Suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • High degree of time management and organization required
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and maintain both a proactive and positive attitude
  • Must be customer focused and enjoy talking on the telephone and assisting customers in difficult or demanding situations
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, anticipate needs, and exceed customer expectations
  • Exceptional analytical skills, accurate keyboarding, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Demonstrate a positive approach towards team building/support is essential

The pay rate for this role is $18.50 per hour. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to hourly pay the total compensation package also includes participation in a profit-sharing program.
