About The Opportunity
Perform the daily set up and operation of the processing equipment (drill, shear, plasma, ironworker, etc.)
Starting Pay Rate: $17.00 (plus $1.00 shift differential)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate machinery within the Processing department with high quality and efficiency.
2. Stage raw materials at the work center for the day's production.
3. Load and unloadmachines, crane, jib crane, etc.
4. Verify machine settings by measuring positions and first-run parts.
5. Inspect and measure partsto ensure blueprintspecifications are met.
6. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
7. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
8. Contribute to a team effort.
9. Maintain safe and clean workspace.
10. Other duties as assigned.
