Job description

i360technologies is seeking an experienced Oracle Trainer to support an enterprise financial management modernization effort. The Oracle Trainer will design, develop, and deliver end-user and administrator training for an Oracle-based Core Financial System (Core FS) SaaS solution being implemented across multiple federal organizations and agencies. This is a high-visibility initiative closely monitored by program and executive leadership.

The Oracle Federal Financials Trainer with an intermediate to the senior level of hands-on training experience.โ€ฏ The successful trainer will be fluent in Training development and delivery with a minimum of (5) five years of professional training and change management exposure.โ€ฏMust be experienced with Oracle Federal Financials R12 and some of the functional process areas such asโ€ฏ

Must have the abilityโ€ฏto support Oracle Federal Financials for training development and execution of eLearning for end users.โ€ฏ Experience providing implementation training materials, coordinating, and executing training sessions with the customer base/end-user base as well as providing support to the Organizational Change Management team in preparation for go-live.โ€ฏ

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop role-based training curricula, instructor-led courses, self-service modules, and job aids aligned to the Core FS solution and supporting business processes.
  • Deliver live (in-person and synchronous virtual) and asynchronous training to diverse audiences including federal financial management end users, administrators, and power users across multiple organizations and agencies.
  • Collaborate with Functional Leads, Technical SMEs, and the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure training content reflects current system configuration, business process decisions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and maintain post-training knowledge management resources including FAQs, quick reference guides, and an intelligent search/chatbot assistance framework.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate training effectiveness; refine materials based on evaluation feedback and system changes.
  • Support migration readiness activities by coordinating training schedules aligned to phased implementation and migration timelines.
  • Maintain training documentation and ensure all materials conform to Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support activities and serve as a resource for post-go-live user assistance.
  • Adapt training approach and delivery as the solution evolves through additional operating capability implementation phases.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing and delivering training for Oracle ERP/Cloud financial management systems, including Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Financials, or Oracle Federal Financials.
  • Experience supporting federal government ERP implementations, preferably within CFO Act agency environments.
  • Proficiency developing instructor-led, eLearning, and job-aid materials using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of federal financial management processes, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budget execution, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Experience developing Section 508-compliant training content.
  • Strong customer relationship, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively navigate challenging situations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or other required federal background investigation clearance.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Work Schedule: Remote, with the ability to travel onsite as needed to client locations in Washington, DC.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale federal financial management SaaS implementations.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Integrated Business Framework (FIBF) Federal Financial Management (FFM) Business Standards.
  • Prior experience supporting large-scale, multi-agency financial system migrations.
  • Oracle University certification or equivalent training credentials.
  • Experience with intelligent virtual training assistants or chatbot-based knowledge tools.
