Technology Trainer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technology Trainer for a contract opportunity. This position will support an organization's digital transformation initiatives by delivering training on Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Copilot, and various enterprise technology platforms. The role involves training employees across multiple departments and technical skill levels while helping drive technology adoption, user enablement, and organizational change management efforts.

Responsibilities:

The Technology Trainer will lead and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, hands-on, departmental, and one-on-one training sessions to support the organization's transition from Cisco Webex to Microsoft Teams and the adoption of Microsoft Copilot. Responsibilities include developing and delivering engaging training programs, creating user guides, FAQs, job aids, quick-reference materials, and instructional content, supporting enterprise software training for Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Salesforce, and other business applications, providing technology onboarding and re training, conducting workshops and coaching sessions, promoting responsible AI usage and practical prompting techniques, supporting organizational technology rollouts and change initiatives, evaluating training effectiveness through surveys and feedback, tracking participation and adoption metrics, and identifying opportunities to improve user engagement and technology adoption across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Three (3) or more years of experience delivering technology training to adult learners, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience facilitating instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training sessions.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, user-friendly language.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Experience developing training materials, presentations, job aids, and user documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt training approaches based on audience needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience training users on Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, or collaboration platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and technology adoption methodologies.
  • Experience supporting change management, enterprise technology rollouts, or software adoption initiatives.
  • Experience delivering training in large organizations with diverse departments and varying technical skill levels.
