Job description

Oracle HCM Cloud Integration Engineer

Houston, TX or Wilmington, DE

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm 

Hybrid Work Model (onsite 3 days/week, remote days/week)

Some of the things you'll be doing: 

  • Utilize Oracle HCM Cloud expertise to provide solutions and implement enhancements to existing processes and integrations.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features.
  • Troubleshoot issues, working tenaciously to understand the root cause.
  • Collaborate with Oracle development when issues require escalation and ensure they are resolved. 
  • Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions.
  • Support the planning, scoping, and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production.
  • Drive common vision, practices, and capabilities across the team.
  • Provide expertise related to reporting, analytics, and dashboards.

What technical skills, qualifications, and experience do you need? 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud 
  • Project implementation or support experience with many of the following Oracle HCM Cloud modules: Core HR, Compensation, Talent Management, Time and Labor, Absence, Learn, Benefits, and Recruiting
  • Experience with HCM Extract, HDL, PBL, BI Publisher, OTBI, Fast Formulas, Workflows, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) and Alerts
  • Automate repetitive HR processes using AI/ML tools and Oracle HCM features
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
  • Experience developing integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and third party vendors (payroll, benefit providers)
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud data model, SQL, PLSQL & Java
  • Knowledge of web service development, design and specifications writing with SOAP and REST
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud security
  • Demonstrated ability to listen to customer needs and provide a solution
  • Collaborative and inquisitive nature
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people who have technical and non-technical backgrounds
  • Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline preferably Computer Science or Software Development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle HCM Cloud Certification (Technical or AI/ML-focused)
  • Experience with JavaScript, Python, or any AI-related programming languages
  • Familiarity with security concepts in HCM Cloud (roles, privileges, data security)
