Job description

OVERVIEW
 Must be a US Person or Permanent Resident
 Duration - 12 month contract position with potential to be extended or converted
 W2 with full benefits, 9/80 Work Schedule
 Customer and contract specific training will be required and provided.
 Location - NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, CA (onsite)
 Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
 Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Enterprise System Analyst leads and business stakeholders to review, refine, and document business requirements.
  • Conduct fit-gap analyses and deliver clear, actionable solution options.
  • Map and document current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Recommend Oracle eBS configuration updates that best support future operational needs.
  • Support functional design development and ensure alignment with approved requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process and system changes.
  • Support functional testing and user training activities.
  • Document functional designs, workflows, and any approved enhancements or process adjustments.
  • Assist in resolving functional issues and guiding stakeholders through incident closure.
  • Provide bi-weekly functional status reporting.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years of functional Oracle R12.2.X eBS experience.
  • ERP Software Proficiency: Look for hands-on experience in Oracle EBIS R12 handling manufacturing and projects, procurement (P2P), and custom aerospace manufacturing (Plan-to-Produce) and integration of real-time cost and inventory data with Projects.
  • Proven track record in ERP configuration, including setting up AutoAccounting parameters, defining custom SLA rules, discrete manufacturing, Work in Progress, actuals vs. budgets troubleshooting accounting events, and managing the seamless transfer of manufacturing, payables, procurement, inventory subledger data into the GL chart of account.
  • Understanding of Costing & Variance Analysis including bill of materials (BOM), routing, labor variances, Standard and Average Costing and overhead absorption.
  • Designs, codes, and maintains complex PL/SQL packages, Oracle interfaces, and custom reporting to synchronize transactional data across P2P, O2C, and manufacturing systems.
  • Understanding of business audits and non-profits including federal government policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation.
  • Ability to present functional options and recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Ability to interact effectively with project team members and stakeholder.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
