Job description

Seeking an Oracle Senior Software Engineer to join a team focused on implementing innovative solutions to support the production of episodic television. The team works to implement solutions across multiple studios and delivery platforms with a focus on building solutions to business problems that increase insight and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Translate complex functional requirements into code
  • Collaborate with other software engineers to integrate the various components of the system
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems
  • Stored procedure and package development
  • Jasper report development
  • Interface development
  • Data conversion
  • Performance tuning
  • Code review
Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of software development
  • Expert in back-end development using Oracle PL/SQL
  • Strong report development skills using Jasper Reports or similar
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems, determine impact and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of the television production data model
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work closely with developers and business analysts
