Hiring Company: Delicatessen Services Co., LLCOverview:A Boar's Head Oracle Applications Data Engineer is a key part of the Enterprise Applications team and is responsible for developing and delivering innovative solutions aligning with the organization's goals. The role focuses on maintaining scalable, reliable, consistent, and repeatable systems that efficiently provide data for company-wide analytics and operations. A Data Engineer must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.Job Description:

Essential Skills:

  • Application Proficiency & Data Modeling:
    • Deep understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite EBS application schemas and architecture
    • Demonstrated ability to extract and transform EBS data for delivery to external systems.
    • Resume submission must highlight in the 1st section of the resume the candidate's opinion on the most difficult type of data to extract from Oracle EBS and examples of the specific data tables required.
  • Coding & Technical Writing:
    • Expertise with SQL and PL/SQL
    • Proficiency with 1-2 additional programming languages (preferably Java or Python) is required,
    • Ability to clearly document technical processes, instructions, and project reports
  • Technical Testing & Troubleshooting:
    • Demonstrated ability in testing software or hardware systems and efficiently resolving issues is required.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in a CPG Manufacturing company utilizing Oracle E-Business Suite is a significant plus
  • Any experience with OPM should be explained and highlighted in the 1st section of the Resume submission
  • Anaplan Experience (integration or modeling) is a significant plus
    * Please highlight in resume submission as ANAPLAN-EXPERIENCE (all caps)
  • Proficiency in these applications/languages is a plus
    • Java
    • Clickhouse
    • Tableau
    • Salesforce
  • Industry knowledge of any aspect of Supply Chain Planning is a plus
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a tech-related field such as computer science or software engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in a role equivalent to Oracle Applications Developer or Data Engineer.
  • Oracle: Oracle EBS/dB - Extensive knowledge of Oracle dB, Oracle ERP and SQL required
  • Data Quality/Observability: Experience in data quality, data observability, data governance, data integrity, data analytics and validation is a plus

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Requires full-time onsite work in an office environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • This is primarily a first shift position but adjustments to shift start/end times may be required depending on future production support schedules.
  • Availability of on-call during non-business hours is required.
  • After-hours and weekend work is intermittently required for system troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.
