Job Description

Responsibilities Must have Oracle on-premise and Cloud EBS security, critical function and Disaster Recover (DR) maintenance and support experience. Must have valid Security + certification and Must be US Citizen Oracle Apps DBA support with strong knowledge of system and database tuning, system security, and critical function management. Contractor support with file porting to custom directories located on AFSVC BAN. Contractor support to promote AFSVC built code. The Contractor shall utilize established policies, standards, and sound management principles in the performance of the below listed tasks. Periodic update meetings and program reviews shall be performed monthly at a minimum, or as needed. The contractor shall contribute in discussion/proof-of-concept works on related solutions for strategic platform (e.g. security, performance tuning, integration, and support tools) Define and implement data visualization best practices Promote/load EBS system change request into environments as required based on Change Management Approval process. Identify issues, gather technical requirements and provide recommended alternative solutions for issue resolution. Read the VTEI standards document and guidelines as provided to the Contractor via the shared drive. The Contractor shall provide written confirmation the VTEI standards and guidelines have been reviewed within 7 business days of receipt. Perform APPS DBA functions within the environments to complete all requirements associated with critical functions which include: Rectification of issues found in Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans. Oracle Data Masking and Sub setting (data obfuscation) consisting of Conditional, Compound and/or Deterministic/Consistent Masking. Auditing consists of the monitoring and recording of database activity, from both database users and non-database users. Creation and managing of a standby database for Disaster protection, Protection against data corruption and Supplemental reporting. Work issues and escalate Oracle service request on My Oracle Support. Work interactively with both functional and technical resources in support of the service request. Perform Oracle OAS administrant services to include configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting support and resolution support. Utilize certification templates as required to complete, capture and update certification artifacts to support Authority to Operate (ATO) and Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&M) actions in coordination with government personnel.
