We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager who will work onsite in one of the following locations: Abilene, TX, Santa Teresa, NM, Saline, MI, or Port Washington, WI to lead EHS execution across hyperscale data center operations. This role will directly manage a team of EHS Specialists and partner closely with Data Center Operations, Construction, and Facilities teams to ensure consistent application of EHS standards and regulatory compliance.

This position is responsible for translating global EHS programs into effective site-level execution, driving accountability, coaching field teams, and ensuring operational risks are proactively identified and mitigated. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, deep technical EHS knowledge, and a proven ability to operate in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

Key focus areas include electrical safety (LOTO, Arc Flash), contractor safety, high-risk work controls, material handling, indoor environmental quality, and heat stress management in large-scale data center environments.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $91,400 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of EHS Specialists supporting hyperscale data centers 
  • Establish clear performance expectations, goals, and accountability measures 
  • Conduct regular field engagement, site visits, and performance reviews 
  • Build a strong safety culture through leadership presence and team development 

EHS Program Execution

  • Ensure consistent implementation of EHS programs, policies, and procedures across assigned data centers 
  • Partner with global and regional teams to deploy standardized EHS programs 
  • Translate corporate standards into practical, site-level execution 

Operational Support & Risk Management

  • Partner with Data Center Operations, Construction, and Facilities teams to: 
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks 
    • Support high-risk activities (LOTO, energized work, confined space, working at heights, etc.) 
    • Ensure safe contractor management practices 

Compliance & Auditing

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable regulatory requirements 
  • Lead and support site audits, inspections, and compliance assessments 
  • Drive closure of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives 

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze EHS performance metrics (KPIs) across sites 
  • Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities 
  • Drive standardization and operational excellence across the region 

Training & Capability Building

  • Ensure EHS Specialists and site teams are properly trained and qualified 
  • Support delivery of EHS training programs aligned with operational risks 
  • Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across sites 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary EHS partner for data center leadership within the region 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align safety objectives with business priorities 
  • Communicate EHS performance, risks, and initiatives to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of EHS experience, including leadership/people management experience 

  • Experience managing EHS programs in hyperscale data centers, mission-critical, or industrial environments 

  • Strong working knowledge of: 

    • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) 
    • Arc Flash / Electrical Safety 
    • Contractor Safety Management 
    • High-risk work controls 
  • Experience leading field-based EHS teams across multiple sites 

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (OSHA, NFPA, ISO) 

  • Experience with EHS management systems, auditing, and performance metrics 

  • Proven ability to influence operational leaders and drive culture change 

  • BA/BS in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field 

  • ASP, CSP, CIH or similar certifications preferred
