Job Summary

The Minibar Attendant is responsible for replenishing and maintaining guest room minibars. Responsible for providing friendly, courteous, prompt, and efficient service to all guests, while creating a memorable Minibar experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

Consistently check, restock, and maintain proper par levels and presentation of all minibar items in guest rooms, paying close attention to damaged and/or expired items.

Adhere to FIFO (first in first out) rotation of minibar items.

Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and functionality of minibar equipment (sensor refrigerator and sensor tray) and assigned service cart. Report any malfunctions and/or damages to IRD Manager.

Adhere to SmartCube procedures and report any malfunctions of device or system to IRD Manager.

Inform management of any situations where a guest may express concern or dissatisfaction.

Must be able to cross-train in other IRD/F&B related areas.


Requirements

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education include:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2-3 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and hospitality experience.

Luxury hotel/fine dining experience is a plus.

FORBES standards is a plus.

High volume, fast-paced experience preferred.

Oracle Cloud experience is a plus.

Micros POS experience is a plus.

Food Handlers card is preferred.

Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is preferred.

Proficient in English- verbal and written.

Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.


Physical Requirements include:

Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
