Job description

Objective: Build a profitable and consistent F&B platform across the portfolio that drives margin, enhances guest experience, and supports total hotel revenue. This role is accountable for both operational performance and total outlet revenue generation.

About: Portfolio currently includes lifestyle, full-service, and select-service hotels across Charlotte, Nashville, and Charleston.

Core ResponsibilitiesRevenue & Commercial Strategy
  • Increase perguest spend across outlets
  • Increase hotel guest capture across all outlets through collaboration with front desk, sales, events, and prearrival communication
  • Integrate F&B into sales strategy (buyouts, events, meeting packages)
  • Standardize outlet programming and activation calendars to drive consistent traffic and revenue generation
  • Support recurring outlet programming and activations that drive local awareness and repeat business
  • Profitability & Cost Control
  • Own F&B P&L performance across all properties: oLabor %
  • COGS % oRevenue flow-through
  • Implement menu engineering discipline
  • Standardize vendor, procurement, and inventory best practices
  • Deliver predictable, repeatable margins
  • Portfolio Standards & Execution
  • Establish and audit simple, enforceable service standards

  • Define: oPOS platform strategy (12 systems max)
  • Reporting standards and data integrity oTraining frameworks (train-the-trainer model)
  • Ensure controls around:
  • Voids, comps, and discounting
  • Brand & Guest Experience
  • Ensure F&B supports: oGuest satisfaction and reviews
  • Stay scores
  • ADR premium at key assets
  • Year 1 Success Metrics
  • Within 90 days: oPortfoliowide rollout of service standards and audit process
  • Clear, standardized reporting across all properties
  • Within 180 days: oIncreased frequency and revenue from outlet buyouts
  • Consistent labor performance vs budget

  • Required: o710+ years of F&B leadership experience
  • Multi-unit or portfolio-level responsibility oStrong financial acumen (P&L ownership across multiple outlets)
  • Experience with new openings or repositioning assets oExcel proficiency
  • Preferred: oLifestyle / upscale hotel experience
  • Experience with Toast POS or Oracle MICROS
  • Marriott or Hilton brand experience
