Job description

i360technologies, Inc. is seeking an Oracle Cloud EPM Federal Accounting Expert to combine hands-on Oracle Cloud EPM Planning configuration and technical build with federal accounting expertise — general ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls — in support of an active pursuit for the federal client's Enterprise Financial Services II (EFS II) effort.

This role combines what were previously two separate roles into one: the Oracle Cloud EPM technical builder (application configuration, Calculation Manager, Essbase, Groovy, data integration) and the federal accounting expert who makes sure the numbers and controls are right (GL, reporting, reconciliations, A-123/internal controls and audits). This combination works because the two skill sets share real overlap — both require fluency in Oracle Federal Financials/EBS and in how federal financial data flows between systems. Functional and architectural direction comes from the Senior Functional Lead and Solution Architect; this role owns turning that direction into a working system and making sure the resulting numbers and controls are accurate.

What You Will Do
  • Configure dimensions, metadata, forms, task lists, workflow, approvals, scenarios, versions, security, dashboards, reports, and Smart View experiences.
  • Develop and maintain Calculation Manager rules, Essbase calculations, formulas, and Groovy business rules.
  • Configure and support Data Integration/Data Exchange, metadata and data loads, mappings, validations, reconciliations, and error handling.
  • Automate repeatable operations using EPM Automate and REST APIs; support deployment and environment-management practices.
  • Design and support interfaces between Oracle Cloud EPM Planning and financial, accounting, HR/payroll, acquisition, data-warehouse, and reporting systems.
  • Support federal accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliation activities.
  • Support internal controls assessments and audit readiness activities, including A-123 documentation and testing where applicable.
  • Support reconciliation between budget formulation data (Oracle Cloud EPM) and actuals/financial reporting systems.
  • Troubleshoot functional, calculation, integration, workflow, security, reporting, data-validation, and performance issues.
  • Document configuration decisions, business processes, financial policies, procedures, and process improvements.
  • Take functional direction from the Senior Functional Lead and architectural direction from the Solution Architect.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, information systems, computer science, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 5-8+ years implementing, configuring, enhancing, or supporting Oracle Cloud EPM Planning or Hyperion Planning solutions.
  • At least 5 years of experience in federal government accounting or financial operations.
  • Experience with general ledger operations, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Working knowledge of federal internal controls requirements (OMB Circular A-123 or similar).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Federal Financials or Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Hands-on configuration experience with dimensions, metadata, forms, workflow, approvals, scenarios, versions, security, dashboards, reports, and Smart View.
  • Strong Essbase and Calculation Manager skills; Groovy experience appropriate to the assigned build scope.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet federal client suitability, citizenship, residency, and background-investigation requirements applicable to the assigned project.
Preferred Experience
  • Direct experience with federal agency financial operations.
  • Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or CPA certification.
  • Experience supporting federal audit response (financial statement audits, A-123 testing).
  • Federal or public-sector budget formulation experience, including appropriations, operating plans, spend plans, or multi-year planning.
  • Experience with Hyperion-to-Cloud EPM migration and modernization.
  • Oracle Cloud EPM certification.
  • Active federal Public Trust or security clearance.
Security & Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the federal government suitability or security clearance required for the assigned project
  • S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (no visa sponsorship available)
Benefits
  • Referral Bonus
  • (401k) Matching
  • Holidays – Eleven
  • Technology Reimbursement
  • Short-Term & Long-Term Disability
  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
  • Paid Time Off (0-3 years - 15 Days PTO | 3+ years 20 Days)
  • 80% Employer Paid Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)

Benefit eligibility and coverage are subject to applicable plan terms and company policies.
