Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Coordinator to join our optometry practice.
This role is essential to creating a welcoming and positive patient experience from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, handling insurance verifications, assisting with billing, and checking patients out after their visits.
We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable multitasking, and confident communicating with patients both in person and over the phone.


Responsibilities
  • ย Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly mannerย 
  • ย Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling appointmentsย 
  • ย Make outbound calls to confirm appointments and help generate bookingsย 
  • ย Verify vision and medical insurance eligibility and benefitsย 
  • ย Assist with billing, payments, and collecting balancesย
