Job Summary:
Google is a leading technology company, and they are seeking a Technology Optimization and Platform Solutions Manager. In this role, you will lead the Business Controls, Technology Optimization, and Platform Solutions team to drive the strategic evolution of Google’s global AI infrastructure, ensuring that data-driven decision-making is embedded at every level of the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the Business Controls, Technology Optimization, and Platform Solutions Team, responsible for scaling and automating global AI infrastructure operations through innovative technical solutions and data-driven decision tools.
• Partner with business teams to develop problem statements that drive optimal tooling solutions, conducting market research and business recommendations across Construction, Design, Finance, and Accounting to ensure Business Controls scale with evolving program requirements.
• Develop scalable processes in partnership with business and technical subject matter experts, prioritizing AI-first solutions and sound data management to ensure optimal execution within tooling architectures.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of functional TPgMs, providing strategic direction, personalized career development, and intuitive organizational design to support efficient scaling and a culture of professional growth.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Operations, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program management.
• 10 years of experience in a technical program management (TPgM) or product management role within the infrastructure, construction, or data center environments.
• 10 years of experience managing the full software development lifecycle for enterprise-level internal tools or platform solutions.
• 7 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.
• 5 years of experience as a people manager.
Preferred:
• 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
• Experience in a data center or mission critical/hyper-scaler organization.
• Experience with AI Platform integration and advanced data management strategies.
• Experience in Construction and Design process engineering, ensuring technical solutions align with complex physical infrastructure requirements.
• Expertise in evaluating and designing organizational structures that optimize for simple and intuitive workflows during periods of hyper-growth.
