Job description

The Science Team at Pride Health is currently supporting a client in the Material Science industry and is having the Recruiting Specialist in Maplewood, MN


Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Talent Acquisition professional to support recruiting efforts across multiple business groups and corporate functions, including IT and Research & Development. This role will focus on building strong talent pipelines, sourcing high-quality candidates, and partnering closely with hiring leaders to drive successful hiring outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical recruiting expertise, experience managing multiple requisitions, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.


Additional Details:

Pay range: $38 - $41/hour on W2 as per your experience

Contract Length: 3 Months with the possibility of extension


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong external talent networks across the U.S. and Canada to attract qualified candidates and develop pipelines for niche and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring needs, workforce planning objectives, and recruitment strategies.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing coordination, offer support, and candidate relationship management.
  • Utilize recruiting tools and technologies such as Workday ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, resume databases, Boolean search techniques, and job boards to identify and engage top talent.
  • Conduct proactive market research and develop innovative sourcing strategies to improve recruiting effectiveness and talent pipeline strength.
  • Share market insights, hiring trends, and competitive intelligence with stakeholders to support strategic hiring decisions.
  • Lead talent pooling, competitor mapping, and targeted sourcing initiatives for critical skill areas.
  • Track recruiting metrics and analytics to monitor pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, and hiring progress.
  • Manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and responsiveness.
  • Support additional recruiting-related projects and initiatives as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing experience, including experience recruiting for IT and technical roles.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles and technologies such as software development, cybersecurity, data analytics, applications, and related IT functions.
  • Experience using Workday or similar Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Experience with recruiting analytics, reporting, and metrics tracking.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consultative partnership skills.
  • Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Proven ability to manage recruitment across multiple functions and departments simultaneously.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, curiosity, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
