Everyday Coffee Co. Operations Support Specialist  

Location: Austin, TX

Looking for a driven UT Austin graduate to gain hands-on experience in business operations, administrative support to the CEO, project management and operational efficiency in a startup environment.  Join a rapidly scaling franchisee team working with nationally recognized brands in a high-growth retail environment. 

About the Role 

The Operations Support Specialist supports the day-to-day functions of the CEO and extended restaurant team, ensuring smooth business processes and efficient workflow. This role involves administrative support, data entry, travel and vendor coordination, and internal communication across departments. Will provide key support in assisting teams with planning, coordination, and execution of projects. This role ensures that project documentation is accurate, timelines are tracked, and communication flows smoothly among stakeholders. Will ensure operational efficiency — all within a startup culture that’s fast-paced, nationwide, collaborative, and entrepreneurial. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Support administrative tasks for CEO and across multiple locations and departments managing daily operational tasks and workflows. Be gatekeeper to ensure optimal time management. 
  • Assist with detailed processes including but not limited to: permitting, store development, systems administration, new location set-up, including maintaining internal databases, records, and documentation. 
  • Support travel coordination and project management, and logistics tracking. 
  • Coordinate with internal team, vendors and suppliers, to ensure timely delivery of projects and services. Help identify risks and support mitigation strategies. 
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and operational summaries for leadership. 
  • Organize and streamline operational workflows and create documentation, identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.  
  • Participate in strategic planning and execution for new store openings, including creation of internal communications and team coordination 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project, Smartsheet). A basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) is a plus. 
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work independently 
  • Interest in franchise operations, retail, or startup environments
