Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) for the JSOW program onsite in Tucson, Arizona. This individual contributor role is a great opportunity for someone with a university/college degree and five (5) years of relevant prior experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of experience. This role requires basic knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process with practical knowledge of project and material management.
In this role you will learn and further develop your knowledge of manufacturing, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You will develop and execute a material program strategy/plan for a program or integrated product team.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one's own job function as well as with parties external to the organization and company. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, budgeting and financial management, issue and conflict resolution.
What You Will Do:
  • Engage with PMO leadership on material strategy execution
  • Coordinate Risk Mitigation and Opportunity capture plans with Procurement
  • Drive on-time deliveries from suppliers to meet program commitments
  • Develop and drive material EACs and monthly material forecasting
  • Commitment to obtain MPM certification after experience in the role

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Progressive professional experience with a combination of experience in Project, Program, Product, Finance or Supplier Management
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management
  • Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced environment of development
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
