The Advanced Emerging Technology (AET) directorate is part of the Raytheon Advanced Technology strategic business unit and is responsible for developing systems that push the boundaries of the state of the art. Focused on both improving performance and lowering cost, AET has a broad range of development efforts funded by various DoD customers including the services and research labs. In addition, AET is involved in IRAD projects that explore new capabilities and applications of our technologies.
This role is onsite, and located in Tucson, Arizona.
What You Will Do:
  • Work as the Program Manager to establish and manage financial baselines, ensuring alignment with program objectives and customer expectations.
  • Serve as the central hub to enable the Chief Engineer, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and the functional team to execute effectively.
  • Support the execution of contract requirements, including managing budgets, schedules, and technical performance metrics.
  • Apply industry-standard program management processes and tools to identify risks, capitalize on opportunities, and ensure successful delivery of program milestones.
  • Facilitate customer interactions, proposals, and cross-organizational coordination to support both new and sustaining business initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing solutions to optimize program performance.
  • The role requires up to 10% travel.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) principles and practices.
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and/or cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with program or project management tools such as risk and opportunity (R&O) management, Estimate at Complete (EAC) analysis, and/or similar business practices.
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance and program access after start.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Program Management Level 5 Certification or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively to an audience.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
