Job description

Market Operations Leadership Development Program - New Graduate

Most jobs ask you to figure out your future before your first day. This one doesn't.

This is an 18 to 24 month leadership development program that leads to an operations leadership role in one of our last mile delivery locations, iconic car Vending Machines, or new car showrooms across the country.

Even better than that, every six months you'll apply what you've learned through mentorship and coursework to get certified in a different part of how Carvana actually operates.

About the Opportunity:

Our Leadership Development Program starts where many Carvana leaders did, the Market Operations Customer Advocate role. Along with creating memorable experiences on the driveway or at our state of the art Car Vending Machine, you'll also:

  • Put our AI and products to work every day (we're a tech company that also sells cars), learning the systems that move a car from click to customer.
  • Learn how a world-class fulfillment operation moves cars, haulers, and people from first to last mile, and build the skills to lead one.
  • Drive our signature car hauler (the image of Carvana on the road that we designed ourselves) to deliver a curated experience that our customers will never forget.
  • Get your hands on the whole operation, from the detail bay to the driveway, learning the work by doing it instead of reading about it.
  • Learn and work at our unmistakable car Vending Machines.
  • Develop leadership skills and credentials that will unlock career opportunities in driving fast-growth operations.

Who we're looking for

  • You earned your Bachelor's degree in the last three years
  • You're drawn to customer-obsessed operations that are tech-forward, fast-growing, and complex enough to never get boring.
  • You're curious how a real company actually runs, end to end, not just the part in front of you.
  • You want a program with a real finish line, one built to launch you into operations leadership.

Benefits + Perks:

We continually invest in our team members' success because when our team members grow, we grow. Here is how we invest in you:

  • Compensation: Competitive, Performance-Based Compensation PLUS 401(k) with Carvana match, opportunity for overtime during busy seasons
  • Health & Wellness: 100% Company Paid Healthcare Premiums plus Dental + Vision benefits. Wellness program to support mental, physical and financial health. We know pets are family too! Benefit from our pet care savings program to keep your furry friends healthy and happy.
  • Time Off & Work-Life Balance: Generous paid time off (13 days for the first year, increases to 20 days thereafter)
  • Equity: Carvana Shares is something that we grant to our team members on an annual basis where you get to be an 'owner' in the company. We also offer an Employee Stock Purchase Plan discount!

General qualifications and requirements

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like detailing vehicles and loading/unloading vehicles onto our haulers in indoor and outdoor conditions with occasional exposure to inclement/extreme weather (some markets may require deliveries to be made in the snow, while other markets require deliveries to be made in the summer heat).
  • Ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours)
  • Requires high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat
  • Requires the grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of items of 50lbs.
  • Frequent driving requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity. Reasonable accommodations may be granted to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

Sourced by ZipRecruiter

At Carvana, we sell cars, but we're not salespeople. Since 2013, we've been making it our mission to change the way people buy cars. We saw a huge problem with how much it can suck to buy a car the traditional way, so we committed ourselves to tackling one of the largest, yet-to-be-disrupted markets in the world - the $1T per year U.S. car market (yes, that's $Trillion with a "T").
