About this Job The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs. As a Program Manager-1A, you will oversee the operation of the Day Program Department and Employment Services Department.

Coordinates with the Director of these departments to ensure that quality services are being provided to residents. Responsible for the operation of the facility's Active Treatment/Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professionals program, which develops, implements, monitors, and revises, as necessary, all residents' individualized active treatment programs, as well as providing oversight and direction to the facility's population-specific treatment programs. if you're a compassionate, organized, and team-oriented nursing professional ready to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply.

Minimum Qualifications Seven years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus three years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: Plans, organizes, directs, and controls several divisions of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center: Residential Services, Active Treatment services, Day Program services, and Psychological services. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls several programs at the facility including the Safety Program, Risk Management Program, Protection-From-Harm Program, Active Treatment Program, and the Title XIX Survey Readiness, Management, and Response Program.

Direct supervisor of two IDD Program Directors and Psychologist 5. Prepares a variety of reports pertaining to services to clients including residential, psychological, social services, active treatment, recreation, speech and hearing, abuse/neglect, incident management, vocational, dietary and medical as well as a variety of reports pertaining to employees including staff training, employee turnover, abuse/neglect, employee survey responses, etc. for review by the CEO and officials at LDH.

Participate as a member of the facility Executive Staff to plan, implement, and monitor the facility's strategic initiatives. Participate in education trainings that are mandatory for accreditation and licensure of the facility. Performs all other duties assigned by the supervisor/designee to maintain continuity and quality, accreditation and licensure requirements.

Performs all other duties assigned by supervisor, but not listed, for the smooth operation of the unit/building and/or the facility. Adheres to all rules, regulations, policies and procedures of State Civil Service, LDH, OCDD and Pinecrest Supports and Services Center. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Administrator to support the Agency and/or the people we serve.

Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.
