Position Summary

Global C2 Integration Technologies is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Technical Director (TD) / Deputy Program Manager (DPM) who serves as the senior technical authority for the C3i System Modernization program, responsible for overall system architecture, engineering execution, and integration.

The TD ensures the technical solution meets all Statement of Work (SOW) and System Requirements Document (SRD) requirements while maintaining alignment with cost, schedule, and performance objectives. This role provides end-to-end technical leadership across systems engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and mission applications, ensuring a cohesive, scalable, and operationally effective solution.

Working closely with the Program Manager, the TD maintains the technical baseline, enforces engineering discipline, and drives integration and verification across the full system lifecycle-from design through test and fielding. This position is contingent upon contract award.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the senior technical authority for system architecture, design, and engineering execution
  • Lead systems engineering, integration, and cybersecurity activities across the program
  • Maintain technical baseline, system architecture, and design integrity throughout the lifecycle
  • Ensure requirements traceability and configuration control are enforced
  • Direct multi-disciplinary engineering teams spanning software, network, cybersecurity, and infrastructure domains
  • Lead technical working groups, design reviews, and key program events (e.g., CDR)
  • Oversee system integration, verification, and test readiness activities (TRR, FQT, SAT)
  • Ensure integration environments, test planning, and technical readiness support successful test execution
  • Coordinate technical efforts across subcontractors and partners to ensure architectural consistency
  • Ensure compliance with SOW, SRD, and applicable standards and frameworks
  • Serve as primary technical interface to Government stakeholders, including the Program Office and Contracting Officer
  • Provide technical input to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and support execution tracking
  • Partner with the Program Manager to manage technical risk, issues, and opportunities
  • Ensure timely delivery and technical quality of CDRLs and program documentation
  • Support staffing plans, technical resource allocation, and team execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in system architecture, integration, and engineering leadership for complex programs
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Experience supporting command and control (C2), air defense, or mission-critical systems
  • Strong background in cybersecurity compliance and RMF processes
  • Experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including SysML and requirements traceability
  • Experience supporting system development, integration, verification, and fielding activities
  • Experience with international programs or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) efforts
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel, including extended overseas deployments
  • Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Business Administration
  • Experience with DoD systems engineering processes and lifecycle management
  • Experience supporting large-scale system integration and operational deployments
