Position Description:
At Microsoft's Operations Service Center, we have a passion for customers, partners, and technology. As a member of the Cloud Services Operations team, you will support and execute cloud processes across multiple Go-To-Market motions. This role is focused on delivering accurate, timely, and compliant transaction execution while supporting the scale of AI and custom Azure workloads. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cloud transactions are processed efficiently, and escalations are resolved effectively.

Interfaces with Engineering, Launch, Sales, Finance, and Support organizations to execute cloud operations across modern and legacy sales motions. Responsibilities include transaction management, escalation support, and contributing to process improvements that enable consistent and reliable operations supporting AI Partner Customers and custom Azure motions.
Responsibilities
  • Execute operational processes supporting AI Partner Customers and Custom Cloud motions with a focus on accuracy and timeliness

  • Manage and help resolve pre- and post-sales escalations by coordinating with stakeholders

  • Follow established processes to ensure consistent and compliant transaction execution

  • Identify and surface process gaps or inefficiencies based on day-to-day execution

  • Document workflows, known issues, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing

  • Apply compliance controls within all transactional activities

  • Utilize reporting and basic analytics to track and manage transactional performance

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience executing controls or managing programs subject to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, execution-focused environment
  • Ability to manage ambiguity while maintaining attention to detail
  • Demonstrated Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability
  • 3+ years of experience in Operations, Program Management, or related roles
  • Experience supporting or executing transactional or operational processes
  • Basic financial acumen with the ability to understand transaction impacts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft systems, tools, and operational processes
  • Demonstrates curiosity and willingness to learn cloud transactional processes and systems
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple teams
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft cloud offerings and licensing models
  • Familiarity or exposure to AI-enabled tools or process enhancements
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft commercial processes, tools, and systems
  • Deep attention to detail and ability to execute consistently within defined processes
  • Basic experience with data tools or querying (e.g., SQL, KQL) is a plus

Work Location details:
  • On-site presence expected at least three days per week, in alignment with team and business need.

Business Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $77,800 - $153,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $102,200 - $169,900 per year.
