Job description

Description:

Evans is hiring a Program Coordinator to join one of their growing contracts in Washington DC. This role will own the administrative and coordination infrastructure of multiple workstreams supporting a significant and complex airspace modernization initiative. We are seeking someone who demonstrates proven success in managing multiple, detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Location details: This role is mostly remote with occasional on-site requirements at Department of Transportation Headquarters in Washington D.C.


  • Operate with limited supervision as a key member of the program management team, supporting execution and delivery of program objectives.
  • Manage program documentation, including maintaining shared repositories and ensuring version control and file consistency.
  • Coordinate project meetings by managing calendars, scheduling sessions, and aligning stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update team rosters to reflect accurate roles and stakeholder involvement.
  • Track workstream assignments to ensure tasks are clearly defined and progressing on schedule.
  • Coordinate actions across teams, driving accountability and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Perform quality reviews to ensure deliverables meet standards for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support program leads with reporting and administrative tasks, including meeting minutes and document approvals.
  • Manage risk and issue tracking, maintaining logs and escalating key risks as needed.
  • Develop and distribute program status reports highlighting progress, risks, and key updates.
  • Provide flexible ad hoc support to meet evolving program needs.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Arts/ Science Degree with 5 years related experience, or an Associate of Arts/ Science Degree and 10 years of related experience, or 15 years of related experience.
  • Experience in business/ financial operations, scheduling or implementation of strategic business initiatives that define/increase organizational effectiveness and efficiencies is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
  • In general, the ability to operate proactively โ€“ to anticipate where support is needed, to communicate with his or her manager about that need, and to follow-through
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong in formal, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and follow-through.
  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans's total compensation package for employees.
