The Operations Specialist is responsible for daily business and administrative operations at RMCC Development.
Core Duties
● Monitor company inboxes for important communications from vendors, customers, regulators, and members of the community.
● Answer incoming phone calls on the main office line.
● Manage daily Accounts Payable operations:
○ Enter bills into RMCC’s ERP system.
○ Ensure checks and electronic payments are prepared before invoice due dates.
○ Communicate with vendors when required.
● Manage purchasing of general supplies and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
● Work closely with Property Manager(s) to ensure smooth operation at commercial sites and that RMCC Development is providing adequate support for tenants.
● Ensure that external communications are consistently accurate and up-to-date.
Education and Experience
● Required: Possess, or the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driving license.
● Strongly Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field.
● Preferred: Prior experience in clerical work such as accounts payable/receivable, procurement, operations, and/or customer service.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
● Familiarity with the following platforms used by RMCC Development: Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Canva, and Google Workspace.
● Preferred: Ability to learn and use enterprise applications such as Sage 50, SAP, Salesforce, HubSpot, or other industry-specific tools.
● Ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone and face-to-face.
● Knowledge of business writing and communications and the ability to write in a professional tone.
● Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of people from different industries and backgrounds.
