Redstone Arsenal Alabama and Huntsville, Alabama
(Contingent upon contract award)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Site Operations Manager provides dedicated on-site leadership for assigned Centralized Distribution Activities operations and is directly accountable for workforce supervision and execution of applicable Performance Work Statement tasks. Site Operations Manager leads the analytical workforce at Redstone Arsenal/Huntsville, Alabama.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Direct daily site operations, workforce assignments, workload balancing, schedule execution, and compliance with applicable contract requirements.
  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate assigned personnel and maintain appropriate staffing, coverage, training, and workforce readiness.
  • Ensure site personnel understand their responsibilities, performance standards, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Track site performance against required standards and timelines, identify operational risks, remove obstacles, and elevate significant issues to the Program Manager.
  • Implement quality-control procedures and validate the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work products, transactions, and deliverables.
  • Support root-cause analysis and the development, implementation, and monitoring of corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders, contractor leadership, technical leads, and other site personnel to ensure responsive and integrated support.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable Army, installation, physical-security, information-security, cybersecurity, property-accountability, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Prepare and communicate site-status information, staffing updates, performance results, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Lead analytical teams performing logistics analysis, data analysis, modeling, reporting, data visualization, and process-improvement support.
  • Coordinate the work of Senior Logistics Analysts, Senior Data Analysts, Program/Data Analysts, and other technical personnel.
  • Ensure analytical products are accurate, timely, properly documented, and responsive to Government requirements.
  • Facilitate coordination among logistics analysts, data analysts, system developers, and Government stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Experience:
  • At least seven years of experience in physical logistics or leading analytical teams, aligned with the assigned site.
  • At least three years of leadership experience in a Department of Defense environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising an operational workforce and executing performance-based contract requirements.
  • Must possess a Secret government clearance

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, staffing requirements, performance measures, quality, safety, and workforce readiness.
  • Working knowledge of Army logistics, warehouse operations, or advanced analytical operations appropriate to the assigned site.
  • Ability to identify performance problems, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong customer-service and stakeholder-coordination abilities.

Travel Requirements:
  • Work is performed at the assigned Government location at Redstone Arsenal/Huntsville, Alabama,
  • Must be able to work the schedule necessary to support contract performance and respond to mission priorities.
