3DGS is seeking a hands-on and strategic IT & Office Operations Manager to oversee both our technology environment and day-to-day office operations.


This hybrid role is ideal for a proactive, highly organized professional who thrives in a dynamic setting and enjoys wearing multiple hats. The successful candidate will ensure reliable and secure IT systems while also supporting efficient administrative processes, vendor coordination, and a well-functioning workplace.


Primary Responsibilities


IT Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Maintain and support servers, network hardware, and software systems, including firewalls, switches, and backup solutions.
  • Oversee daily operations of IT systems, including ERP platforms, cloud services, file servers, and databases, both cloud-based and on-premises.
  • Ensure system availability, performance, and scalability to support business operations.


User Support & Workplace Technology

  • Provide tier 13 technical support for staff across office and manufacturing environments for on-site and remote personnel.
  • Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and general workplace technology.
    Troubleshoot issues and deliver timely, user-focused solutions.


Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Implement and enforce security protocols in alignment with NIST Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and threats; manage antivirus, firewalls, and patching.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., CMMC, data privacy, export controls, ITAR (where applicable).


Office & Operations Management

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure a professional, efficient, and well-maintained work environment.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships (e.g., telecom, printing, facilities services).
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding (workspace setup, system access, equipment provisioning).
  • Maintain and improve office policies, procedures, and operational workflows.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative and office-related needs.
  • Assist with scheduling, travel coordination, and internal meetings or events as needed.


Strategic Planning & Vendor Management

  • Evaluate and recommend IT and operational solutions aligned with company growth and manufacturing needs.
  • Manage budgets across IT and office operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and office suppliers.


Project Management

  • Lead small-scale IT and operational projects, including:
    • Software implementations
    • Hardware upgrades
    • Office moves or workspace improvements
    • Process improvement initiatives


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of IT experience is required. IT experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • 2 years in a leadership or managerial role is preferred.
  • This position will require lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information, and employees in these roles will need to meet those requirements. Requirements include US Citizenship, US Permanent Resident, or the ability to meet contract-specific licensure requirements.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365 tenant administration, Networking hardware (Cisco, Meraki, or similar), and Backup and recovery tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments).
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as NIST CMMC, ISO 9001, or ITAR.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP Business One) is preferred.
  • Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python) are preferred.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with finance, operations, and HR is preferred.

  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day (where applicable).
