Job Description
Primary Location:
Bloomfield, New Mexico
District Sales and Operations Manager: The District Sales and Operations Manager is responsible for providing overall leadership and execution of Sales and Distribution strategy for Admiral's distribution centers within a geographical area by directing local management at the Sales Centers by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisor(s).
Develops operational plans to achieve annual goals relating to sales, margin, and expenses as well as profit and losses, and strategic plans, including the development, execution, and organization of the pricing of promotional strategies.
Provides direction for improvement in aspects of sales operations to maximize sales volume and revenue including ordering, delivery and merchandising to drive continuous improvement and development of the district operations.
Evaluates people, processes, technological capabilities, skills and resource alignment to ensure performance against objectives. Design realignment options and assist with change efforts necessary to achieve operational excellence.
Identifies and coordinates with local management teams to define strategies and processes of improvements within the operations area necessary to meet the variance commitments for the sales centers/distribution warehouses and cost objectives.
Identifies cost gaps and develop action plans to adequately allocate resources to meet the company's financial objectives while meeting customer needs.
Assists local management teams to achieve high -levels of execution through efficient route sales and delivery, customer orders, productivity attainment, analysis and effective staffing.
Evaluates individual Sales Center(s) capabilities, skills, and resource alignment to ensure performance against objectives. Lead realignment and work to redesign efforts as necessary to provide executional excellence.
Develops and monitors budgetary and financial goals against corporate leadership direction.
Reviews direct reports progress against monthly and annual plans and continually develop their effectiveness as leaders, as well as providing opportunities for career development.
Communicates and collaborates cross-functionally with local management to assist with solving operational issues.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
