Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Operations Manager oversees daily transportation operations for shared-ride or company vehicle services. This role ensures drivers, routes, and schedules run efficiently while maintaining safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality customer service. The Operations Manager also leads staff performance, supports client relationships, and helps maintain strong customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support drivers, dispatchers, and field staff.
  • Manage daily route scheduling, trip assignments, and service coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor driver performance, attendance, and service quality.
  • Handle customer service issues, complaints, and service escalations.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, and fleet readiness.
  • Conduct onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching for drivers.
  • Track operational metrics (on-time performance, trip completion, safety incidents).
  • Work with clients/contracts to ensure service level agreements are met.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–4 years of management experience in paratransit or transportation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
