Supporting multiple storage sites, the Regional Operations Manager ensures operational efficiency, manages site staff, and is responsible for the budgets, overall maintenance, and operations of our regional storage sites.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to a multi-unit field team, including managers, through effective training and mentorship.
  • Drive sales growth in the region, meeting predetermined targets by the Region Senior Leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer service experience and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the region's performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with Region VPs and store managers to establish and track sales goals for each location while monitoring progress to attract and retain customers.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competition, and best practices in sales techniques and strategies.
  • Maintain business relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors while evaluating the quality of work completed across facilities.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans as necessary.
  • Oversee property maintenance by addressing tenant complaints, enforcing occupancy rules, inspecting vacant units and repairs, planning renovations, and liaising with contractors and vendors.
  • Conduct weekly site inspections at each property to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Supervise the collection of tenants' arrears; assist with collections, reconciliations, and adjustments as needed.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the head office, including reporting on occupancy, budgets, and building strategies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a multi-unit supervisory role, preferably in Property Management, Retail, or Hospitality industry.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work adeptly with a variety of software platforms.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • A Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Must complete & pass a criminal record check.
