Job description

Position Summary

The Operations Supervisor leads a high-performing warehouse team responsible foraccurate, on-time order fulfillment across picking, packing, and shipping. This is a hands-on, working supervisor role - you will be on the floor with the team, monitoringproductivityand performance standards, directing workflow and daily priorities, and ensuring service standards are consistently met. You will also partner with other departments to share labor when needed and will be accountable for training, coaching and development, scheduling, performance management, and addressing employee relations issues as they arise. We areseekinga high-energy,highly motivated leader who enjoys being actively involved in the operation and driving results. Essential Functions

Manage team to ensure quality and on-time shipping of all orders (picking/packing/shipping)

Conduct one-on-ones with each associate to communicate errors, concerns, and attendance

Coach and train team members

Input daily numbers for area of responsibility for monthly metric reporting

Work on the floor with the team

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experiencerequired

3+ years of experience in warehouse distribution related functionsrequired

Minimum of 3 years of leadership experiencerequired

Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office,required

Detail oriented with strong focus on accuracyrequired

Excellent verbal and written communication skillsrequired

Ability to effectivelyestablishrapport, present information, and respond to questions related to picking, packing, shipping, and other warehouse operationsrequired

Ability to quickly resolve problems and develop favorable solutionsrequired

Schedule (must be able to work):

Monthly rotating shift schedule:

- Month 1: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

- Month 2: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM

Rotation repeats monthly

In addition, must work 2 Saturdays per month for UPS pick-up from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience using handheld RF units preferred

Prior experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, etc.) preferred

Prior experience using UPS World Ship preferred

Knowledge of AS400 or SAP preferred


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 56,200 - 93,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
