The Warehouse Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing all facets of warehouse operations, including Receiving, Pick and Pack, Order Verification, Shipping, Returns, and Staffing. This position involves strategic planning and approval processes to ensure efficient workflow and productivity. The supervisor will effectively communicate job expectations to team members, monitor their performance, and provide coaching and guidance to foster professional development. Additionally, the supervisor will enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and addressing any issues through appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary. This role is essential for maintaining a high standard of operational excellence and team performance within the warehouse.
Essential Job Functions
  • Oversee all warehouse operations, implementing and enhancing operational practices to drive significant improvements in productivity, quality, and profitability across the organization.
  • Engage in the strategic planning process to align operational goals with business objectives.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve operational challenges to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Manage all aspects of inbound and outbound transportation to optimize logistics efficiency.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures across all departments to maintain operational consistency and compliance.
  • Lead safety training initiatives and establish guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to coordinate warehouse schedules and streamline operations.
