Job description

Breezy Hill Nursery, an established, family-owned landscape design, installation, and maintenance firm in Southeast Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Landscape Foreman. Founded in 1980, we are one of the largest landscaping firms in the Midwest and are dedicated to investing in our team and fostering long-term careers.

As a Landscape Foreman, you will lead and manage a crew daily, executing high-quality residential and commercial landscape installations from designer plans. If you are a detail-oriented leader with strong communication skills and hardscape experience, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Crew Management: Direct, motivate, and manage a landscape crew on a daily basis to ensure project efficiency.
  • Plan Execution: Read, interpret, and execute residential and commercial landscape designs and irrigation plans within designated timelines.
  • Landscape Installation: Install "green goods" (digging, planting, and pruning trees, shrubs, and evergreens) as well as soil, grass seed, and sod.
  • Hardscape & Irrigation: Execute hardscape installations and assist with the installation and routine maintenance of custom irrigation systems.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate small power equipment and hand tools.
  • Logistics & Safety: Load and unload landscape materials, green goods, and hard goods; must be able to comfortably lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Client Relations: Maintain excellent communication and build positive relationships with clients and the Breezy Hill team.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of landscape foreman and job management experience in the field (Preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, and irrigation designs.
  • Core Skills: Strong time management, organizational skills, and strict attention to detail.
  • Location Requirements: Must be able to reliably commute to Salem, WI 53168.
  • Legal: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
