  1. Position description:
    • The Lawn Care Crew Member must have a positive, can-do attitude, be an eager learner, be conscious of safety requirements, work effectively as a team member, dress appropriately, be punctual, follow instructions given by the Lawn Care Leader or Foreman.
  2. Reports To:
    • Directly to the Lawn Care Crew Leader
  3. Necessary skill set and educational requirements:
    • Minimum 1-year related experience.
    • Possess a valid driver’s license and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy.
    • Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility.
    • Physically able to handle the workload of a Lawn Care Specialist.
    • Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body
    • Able to lift 60lbs pounds without assistance.
    • Able to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner on a daily basis.
    • Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screening
    • Reliable transportation
  4. Job Responsibilities:
    • Perform lawn mowing, trimming, power edging, leaf cleanups.
    • Operate company equipment in a safe and caring manner.
    • Perform all daily preventative maintenance (PM) on company equipment.
    • Meets or exceeds company production standards for lawn maintenance.
    • Help Crew Leader ensure that jobs are kept on schedule
    • Ensures all accidents are properly documented and reported to immediately to Crew Leader.
    • Help to ensure that company production standards are met.
    • Maintain a clean crew truck at all times.
    • Able to interact with clients in a professional and competent manner
    • Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies, procedures and SOP’s
    • Able to work with minimal supervision from supervisor, but knows when to ask for assistance.
  5. Appraisal criteria:
    • The primary appraisal criteria for the Lawn Care Crew Member is to show up on time in the proper clean uniform, work hard, and within 30 days learn the skills necessary to properly and safely operate all hand tools and to meet company production rates.

    • Work hard and listen to all instructions given to him by the Lawn Care Crew Leader.
