POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mowing Crew Foreman is responsible for day-to-day duties in our mowing division. The Foreman is responsible for managing a crew of 1-2 team members to complete tasks in a timely fashion.

The Mowing Crew Foreman is responsible for understanding and transcribing job descriptions, problem-solving, and communicating directly with the customer. During the winter months, they will help to provide additional services such as Holiday Lighting, Snow Removal, and warehouse work.

To succeed in this role, the Mowing Crew Foreman should have excellent time management and communication skills. They will collaborate with various internal teams, clients, and vendors to deliver exceptional results.

This position supports the mission of the organization by demonstrating exceptional service for our residential and commercial clients.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Manage a team to complete daily lawn care services
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers to ensure proper techniques and duties are met
  • Prepare for each day with preparation of equipment and necessary materials
  • Properly understand and execute daily work details that pertain to each client
  • Document all performance and details for each service stop

COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to operate medium to heavy-duty vehicles while pulling a trailer
  • Ability to interface with clients and customers on behalf of the company
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Demonstrate excellence in time management skills
  • Must be able to analyze information, identify solutions, and resolve problems in a timely matter.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 1 year of experience leading a crew in commercial lawn maintenance with commercial-grade equipment

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift at least 75lbs
  • Ability to work prolonged periods of time in extreme heat or cold weather
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
