Job Title: Business Operations/Office Manager
Reports to: SoPakco Distribution, Inc. Greeneville/Kingsport, TN
Job Summary:
SoPakCo Business Operation/Office Managers are expected to to work as a valued member of the office, warehouse and distribution team. This position consists of managing the business and office operations. As a business operation/office manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of work, maximizing productivity, while maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities will include business financials, customer quotes, capital projects, and customer/warehouse management systems.
Job Description/Required Skills:
• Responsible for inventory reconciliation.
• Provide outstanding customer services.
• Must be able to cross train to work at all business locations.
• Must be able to handle a fast-paced work enviorement.
• Must have good-time management skills.
• Knowledge of work processing tools and spreadsheet (MS Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ensure all associates follow policies including company rules and safety guidelines.
• Ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing environment
Education and Experience:
• Previous Business Manager experience required.
• Preferred experience using warehouse management system.
• Warehousing, logistics, supply chain or third-party experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor or Associate degree is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Requires prolonged sitting, standing and material handling equipment operations is a plus.
• Must be able to work in severe weather conditions, both heat and cold.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screening
