The group you'll be a part of
The Global Customer Operations Group brings industry insights and experience to help our customers deliver on their technology roadmaps. We work tirelessly to earn the trust of our customers, because we know that working closely together leads to the highest quality outcomes.
The impact you'll make
Strategic demand management is a key interface to the product groups for the BDSO organization. This role serves as the central point of coordination between Product Groups, BDSO, and GOPs to drive weekly engagement for demand, key P&Ds and float determination and allocation. The float process and capital systems are tools that the strategic demand manager will use to minimize SRD to MCSD gaps for designated strategic growth products.
What you'll do
Strategic growth products
  • Drive annual alignment for strategic growth product list between PG and BDSO. Maintain the list throughout year as changes occur.
  • Drive weekly engagement meetings for demand forecast and close actions on float creation, management and allocation.
  • Publish weekly key product reports (dashboards) on selected products for changes, float management to product group and GOPs partners.
  • Use floats and other methods to meet SRD to MCSD gap target for strategic growth products.

Float managememt
  • Own float management and operations business process
  • Weekly update for float tracker to prevent excursions for inside lead time floats and overall risk mitigation for all floats
  • Partner with PG to utilize floats, maintain adherence to float policy, and drive CIP as needed

NSR Escalations and CIP
  • Own BDSO team NSR KPI dashboards and needed CIP
  • Monitor NSR complete cycle time by PG and report status (quarterly or more often as appropriate)
  • Drive correction action plans with PG and CIP as needed to drive toward BDSO NSR KPIs and targets

BCP and PCNs
  • BDSO SPOC for coordinating BCP and PCN execution plans provided by PG/GOPs to minimize impact of event
  • Communicate customer and product level pre-alert to RSO team
  • Communicate FID level execution plan to RSO heads
  • Track execution of plan and report out to RSO team daily and weekly as needed to minimize risk

Operational Rhythm & Performance Tracking
  • Lead weekly meeting(s) with key stakeholders to maintain operation rhythm
  • Monitor and improve key execution metrics.
  • Track performance against key operational metrics and drive accountability across stakeholders.
  • Provide clear visibility into risks and execution status to RSO team

Scope & Operating Context
  • All customers are within scope of strategic demand management
  • Other assigned duties as needed within the strategic demand management team
  • Operates within BDSO with primary interfaces to:
    • Product Groups
    • Global Operations (GOps)/ Supply Chain
    • RSO teams

Who we're looking for
  • Strong experience in Sales Operations, Product Group, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations in a semi-cap equipment market intelligence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills and sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proven track record of delivering to commitments in a complex, high-mix, low-volume environment
  • Strong understanding of the following:
    • Change management
    • Risk assessment
    • Lam products
  • Experience driving cross-functional execution across operations and product group teams
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Success in this role is measured through:
  • Establish tracking dashboards and effective communication to stakeholders
  • Effectiveness in minimizing customer impact due to BCP/PCN changes
  • Speed and effectiveness of execution issue resolution
  • Execute to aligned KPIs
  • Bachelor's degree or related field with 10+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 7 years' experience; or a PhD with 5 years; or equivalent experience.

Salary
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $137,000.00 - $287,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
