Account Operational Executive
Phoenix, AZ Hybrid | Full-Time $80,000$120,000 Base Salary + Equity
Location Requirement: Candidates must reside in the Phoenix, AZ area and be able to travel daily to partner sites throughout Arizona. This is a field-based leadership role requiring regular on-site presence to support operations, coach teams, and partner with clinical site leadership.

We're seeking an experienced Account Operational Executive to lead multi-site healthcare operations across the Phoenix, AZ area. In this role, you'll oversee a team of 10+ Patient Navigators while partnering closely with physician practices, imaging centers, and operational leaders to drive exceptional patient experiences, operational excellence, and continued business growth. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, results-driven leader who thrives in fast-paced healthcare environments and has a proven track record of managing multi-site healthcare operations. You will lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams by overseeing performance, workforce planning, scheduling, timekeeping, and employee development while fostering a culture of accountability and engagement. You'll optimize workflows, improve patient access and operational efficiency, monitor key performance indicators, and work closely with site managers and physician partners to resolve operational challenges. As a champion of the patient experience, you'll ensure compassionate, seamless care throughout the patient journey while supporting navigators who assist with imaging, diagnostics, and genetic testing services. You'll also lead onboarding and ongoing team development in partnership with the National Training Team, promote continuous learning, and collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Clinical Leadership, Human Resources, Training, and Account Management to support new site launches, operational transitions, workflow improvements, and strategic growth initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 8+ relevant healthcare leadership experience will be considered.
Required Experience
- 58+ years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience.
- Required: Experience leading multi-site healthcare operations supporting imaging centers, outpatient clinics, diagnostic centers, physician practices, ambulatory care, laboratories, or similar healthcare environments.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience leading teams of 810 or more employees.
- Experience supporting physician practices with a strong focus on patient acquisition workflows, specialty service lines, or provider partnership operations.
- Experience managing non-exempt staff, including scheduling, payroll/timekeeping, performance management, coaching, and corrective action.
- Demonstrated success improving operational performance, workflow efficiency, patient experience, and key performance indicators.
- Strong partnership experience with physicians, clinical teams, site leadership, and cross-functional departments.
- Experience supporting patient navigation, patient access, care coordination, scheduling, or other patient-facing healthcare services.
- Experience leading operational rollouts, site openings, acquisitions, or healthcare expansion initiatives.
- Comfortable working within a rapidly growing healthcare organization.
- Experience leading hybrid and field-based teams.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy standards, and healthcare regulatory compliance.
