Job description

Inotiv is looking for a DMPK Operations Coordinator to help manage the daily workflow, tracking, and logistics for Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics and non-clinical studies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with study scheduling, monitoring, and tracking to meet objectives, deliverables, and timelines
  • Support Scientists / Operations with transferring critical information from client correspondences into relevant project management software structures
  • Assist with development of relationships across departments / disciplines and with customers through frequent communication throughout the project and ensure clients' needs are understood and addressed
  • Communicate regularly with Scientific Leads and Program / Project Management from other Inotiv sites on multi-site projects
  • Establish and communicate major milestones both internally and externally utilizing applicable software applications; discuss with team when escalation is required based on progress against deliverables/milestones
  • Assist with regular meetings to review projects activities and report status; communicate project challenges, scope changes, and timelines
  • Maintain systems to analyze capacity for all resources (i.e. FTE / Equipment)
  • Assist Management with maintaining departmental training records
  • Provide assistance with departmental quote reviews
  • Assist Scientific, Client Services, and Business Development team members with creation, delivery, and approval of change orders
  • Assist in Sample Management activities including shipping, receiving, and logging samples / test articles upon receipt
  • Coordinate departmental ordering and maintain inventory of routine supplies and chemicals
  • All other aspects to support Operations Management

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years or relevant experience
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task in a high energy environment/manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to create and manage timelines
  • Must be able to collaborate with functional departments and lead technical teams
  • General understanding of GLP regulations
  • Proficient in the use of computer software applications as needed (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel)

Physical Activity and Working Conditions

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior office or laboratory environment
  • Work may require use of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
