Your Specific Responsibilities:
  • Serve as point of contact for assigned OSBI programs, ensuring timely communication, coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Support SSBCI program activities through data collection, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with development and refinement of program procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Track program deadlines, deliverables, and performance metrics across multiple initiatives.
  • Provide technical assistance to program partners, community organizations, and business stakeholders.
  • Support OSBI outreach, innovation workshops, and small-business engagement activities.
  • Assist with preparation of reports, analyses, briefings, and program summaries for leadership.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings and maintain positive working relationships with agency partners.
  • Conduct research to support program improvement, policy development, and small-business innovation strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Government Operations Consultant II serves as the primary point of contact for several programs within the Office of Small Business Innovation (OSBI) and provides ongoing support for the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). This position ensures effective coordination, communication, and delivery of program activities and contributes to OSBI's broader mission to strengthen Florida's small-business ecosystem.
