About the role
As Disguise experiences rapid growth, we have expanded our teams and are growing our Operations department. We are looking for a detail-oriented, pro-active Operations Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles. The Operations Coordinator is the on-the-ground operations overseer in the Los Angeles office. In this entry level role, you'll be the connective tissue across teams - keeping processes running smoothly, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in the office.
This is a dynamic, people-facing role where you will be an enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast paced private sector environment. You will be expected to work from the office full time and execute tasks with minimal supervision, managing your time effectively to deliver optimal business outputs and a positive Customer experience.
What you will do
  • Assist with internal stock transfers, including occasional travel to external warehouses.
  • Receive, inspect, and log incoming goods. Update systems with accurate inventory movements. Properly label and receive incoming goods for the Service Center.
  • Oversee the tracking and shipping of servers in a cost-effective manner, monitor related expenditures, and provide regular cost reporting.
  • Prepare and pack servers, VFCs, and parts for shipment using appropriate labeling and packaging standards.
  • Manage and track monthly stock takes at the Los Angeles office and IFE-LAX Warehouse.
  • Manage Service Center inventory levels, ordering parts with the Procurement team if necessary to replenish stock.
  • Arrange and track loan equipment for our Premium Support Customers.
  • Assist Service Center team with case management and creating quotes for repair quotes and orders.
  • Work in the Los Angeles office 5 days a week during business hours

Experience we are looking for
  • Customer-first approach towards solving problems, always considering the customer impact and being an advocate for the customer along their journey with Disguise.
  • Experience with working with business systems (preferably Salesforce).
  • Understanding of how to book international shipments and required documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, harmonized codes, and customs declarations. Familiarity with global couriers (DHL, FedEx, etc.) and shipping platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of how a goods in/goods out system operates, including inventory intake, stock allocation, outbound packaging, and system-based tracking of all item movement.
  • Basic understanding of computer componentry and their functions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis role involves regular hands-on handling of hardware and inventory. With or without reasonable accommodation, the role requires:
  • Frequently moving equipment, packages and parts weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasionally moving items weighing up to 70 lbs, using lifting aids and/or with the assistance of colleagues.
  • Standing, walking and moving between office, Service Center and warehouse areas for extended periods.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to inspect incoming goods, read labels and identify components.
