Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical operations in an on-site employer health clinic. This role is essential in assisting providers, supporting patient care, and ensuring an efficient and positive clinic experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams, including vitals, medical history, and documentation
  • Assist providers with procedures, treatments, and patient care
  • Perform clinical tasks such as injections, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection (within scope)
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system and support patient intake
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready between patients
  • Support clinic flow, patient coordination, and overall operations
  • Assist with front desk duties as needed based on patient volume
Qualifications
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
  • 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
  • Experience in primary care, urgent care, or clinic setting preferred
  • Experience with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
