About the Job:
We are looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) to step into a Center Operations Manager opportunity. This pivotal role is accountable for the day-to-day health center operations, performance to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and performance management of all health center support staff, all while continuing to provide hands-on patient care. You will ensure the facility exceeds AAAHC standards and follows all established policies.
This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, benefit eligible opportunity in O'Fallon, MO.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday 7:00 am - 4: 00 pm
Tuesday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
1. Operations & Compliance Management
  • Day-to-Day Oversight: Oversee the overall day-to-day management of the health center and clinical support staff.
  • Standards & Compliance: Ensure organization policies and standards are upheld, including all regulatory, procedural, and licensing requirements. Ensure adherence to patient privacy regulations and confidentiality protocols.
  • Inventory & Reporting: Manage supply and pharmacy inventory, replacement ordering, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational workflows.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities related to clinic efficiencies or patient/employee engagement strategies and present recommendations to area leadership.

2. Clinical Care & Collaboration
  • Patient Care: Dedicate a significant amount of time to patient facilitation and hands-on care.
  • Clinical Skills: Utilize required skills, including EKG, vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection, with current experience.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the Physician(s), Clinician(s), and/or Total Health Solutions team.

3. Leadership & Personnel
  • Staff Management: Manage staffing schedules, timecard monitoring, and ensure adherence to time and attendance policies for all direct reports.
  • Talent Development: Develop employee success through recruiting, onboarding, development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Function as the health center operations SME, accountable for staff training and demonstration of competencies.
  • Support: Provide support to resolve issues, coordinate regular staff meetings, and contribute input to area leadership for health center staffing.

What You'll Bring to the Team (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Education & Certification (Required):
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Registered/Certificated MA or 5+ years of MA experience required.
    • Current clinical license as required by state/national authority in good standing.
    • Current classroom-led American Heart Association BLS or CPR Card required.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience with healthcare leadership responsibilities strongly preferred or a minimum of 2 years' experience with CareATC's Health Center operations.
    • Proficient experience with both Practice Management and Electronic Medical Records.
    • Clinical Skills: Demonstrated current experience with EKG, vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Current health records with appropriate immunizations (Hepatitis B and PPD).
    • Ability to work at multiple locations upon business need.
    • Physical ability to lift, pull, push, and manipulate equipment and patients, and to sit/stand for long periods of time.
