Position Summary
Ideal Home Health Agency is seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and results-driven Director of Growth & Operations to lead the growth and success of our Erie branch.
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated leader to build and expand a home health agency location with significant growth potential. The Director of Growth & Operations will be responsible for increasing client census, developing referral relationships, recruiting and retaining caregivers, overseeing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving branch profitability.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong healthcare, business development, or management background and be excited by the opportunity to directly influence the growth and success of the Erie market. This position includes a profit-sharing component, allowing the successful candidate to share in the branch's financial success.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Growth

  • Referral Development
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, schools, rehabilitation facilities, and community organizations.
  • Conduct outreach activities to increase agency visibility throughout the Erie market.
  • Attend networking events, healthcare meetings, and community functions.
  • Identify and pursue new referral opportunities.

  • Develop and implement branch growth strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with Intake, Nursing, and Administrative teams to convert referrals into admissions.
  • Monitor referral sources and admission trends.

  • Recommend strategies to expand services and market share.
2. Operations Management
  • Branch Oversight
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Erie office.

Qualifications
Required

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Experience in home health, healthcare sales, healthcare operations, or community-based services.
